Severnside Tritons is committed to providing coaching to swimmers with disabilities. Coaches at the Club have been responsible for coaching swimmers who have classified disabilities and who have competed at a variety of competitive swimming events from locally organised events to the Paralympics. We also welcome disabled swimmers who want to learn to swim or improve their strokes.
We have a committee member who has special responsibility for disability swimming and coaches attend disability awareness courses and coaching the disabled swimmer courses as part of their continuing professional development.
Severnside Tritons hosted the South West Disability Development Day in October 2009 where our Head Coach, Malcolm Casey, led the coaching session, supported by some of our other coaching staff.
If you are interested in finding out more about disability swimming within Severnside Tritons, please contact Malcolm Casey, the Head Coach, via the contact link in the "How To Join" box on our Home Page.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
